Admissions

Cornerstone Christian School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, employment practices, athletic or other school-administered programs.

In accordance with our Christian values and educational mission, the administration reserves the right to exercise discernment in admitting or denying students to the school based on criteria aligned with our mission and academic standards.

How To Apply:

Upon submitting an application to the school, administration will contact you to go over your application and to setup a meeting to tour the school as well as an interview. The application fee for new and returning students is $50 at the time of registration and is non-refundable.

To apply or re-enroll as a student for the 2024-2025 school year, please select the appropriate application below:

To be a part of our school…

Parent requirements:

  • Be sincerely committed to securing for their children a Christ-centered classical education that is taught from a distinctively Biblical worldview.
  • Carefully examine the Statement of Purpose, Statement of Faith, and Educational Philosophy, and sign and affirm in conduct the Parental Covenant, and other documents as a declaration of wholehearted agreement with and commitment to Cornerstone Christian School.
  • Be willing and able to view the school as an extension of their homes. If the school cannot be an extension of the home, children will not be enrolled here, for to do so would put the child(ren) in the position of having to “choose between two masters”. This only brings confusion and resentment into children’s lives. (In the case of divorced/single-parent families, attempts will be made, whenever possible, to involve BOTH parents in the enrollment procedures and educational process).
  • Parent(s) should be supportive of and willing to uphold the Biblical moral, educational, and disciplinary standards set by the school.
  • Be willing to meet with the administration prior to enrollment/school year and at any point during the school year the administration deems necessary.
  • Attend mandatory parent meeting(s) and uphold fundraising guidelines. Failure to comply without prior agreement with the administration will result in the student(s) not being allowed to continue at CCS.
  • Tuition must be paid on time, or an appropriate payment schedule agreed upon by administration, or student(s) will not be allowed to continue at CCS.
  • Feel free to contact the administration with any concerns or thoughts.

Student requirements:

  • Whenever possible visit and tour the building, observe classes in progress, and meet with prospective teacher(s) and fellow students prior to enrollment.
  • Read and discuss with parents the CCS Parent/Student Handbook.
  • Meet with an administrator for a personal interview, demonstrating willingness to be here and sincerity in the signing of the Student Covenant (grades 2 – 12).
  • Complete and gain acceptance by the administration after the required 3-month incoming trial period.

Enrollment Time Schedule:

While desiring to serve the community at large, and out of consideration for available space and resources, all completed forms and registration fees will be accepted starting in March.

All prior tuition and fees must be up-to-date (or an acceptable repayment plan in effect) before re-admission will be considered.

Enrollment is given on a first-come, first-served basis as space and time permits. Preference will be given to current CCS families who are re-registering. After the start of the school year enrollment will be considered on a case-by-case basis, as space and time permits.

Placement:

Cornerstone Christian School is committed to helping students succeed academically. Because of the nature of our program, we reserve the right to place new students at the grade level we assess to be most appropriate for the individual student.

Academic testing is generally required to determine proper placement.

Each incoming child will be subject to a 3-month trial period to be followed by a meeting with administration and parents to determine the outcome and future of the student.
